CRAB AND CHAMPANGE

Only one thing is more satisfying than sucking the juicy, tasty goodness out of crab and that’s doing so over a glass (or bottle) of champagne. Chef Sean Connolly and The Morrison Bar & Oyster Room invite you to indulge in their sixth month long crab-tastic feast. And this year we’ve added a little sparkle, partnering with G.H.Mumm to present Crab & Champagne Carnival. Menu only on offer during MARCH- APRIL.


*Well isn't this just ironic that we styled up the beautiful Morrison venue yet again ( she's becoming one of our fav Venus to style up within the Sydney collective group of venues) way back on the 11th of march ( this feels like a lifetime ago) for their Crab and Champagne carnival launch. Who would have thought that a mere 7 days later we would have all been listening to the news and all be told to go into ISO and that a virus that was wreaking utter chaos throughout the whole world would touch us here is Aus but it did. We are so thankful that we were able to style up this incredible evening before that all happened.

With G.H.MUMM and Crab being the main feature it only seemed fitting that we would base the evenings colour platte around G.H.MUMM'S logo colours and the bright vibrancy and richness of the cooked crab.
We wanted to make sure that the room had a warmth to it still so we kept the styling simple and brought in minimal styling elements and focused on bringing in colour through the floral arrangements.

Each guest was seated down to our woven placemat, a linen white muslin napkin, and custom designed menus and name places by The Morrison. Each guest also was given a bottle of G.H.MUMM. to take home . We styled the middles of the tables with a vibrant lush array of florals paired with white marble platters and thin gold candle sticks.


At the bar it was only fitting that we did a deluxe floral display in a giant clam shell and styled it with g.h.mumm bottles.
We are excited to hopefully see the incredible Chef Connolly and The Morrison team when they re open that this amazing month long crab carnival will be back in play for the general public to enjoy.
